Make magical Christmas memories with a visit to Santa’s Grotto at Dumfries House.
Your festive experience begins in the Hayloft above the Coach House Café, beautifully transformed with Christmas decorations to create a warm and welcoming festive atmosphere.
On arrival, the Dumfries House Elves will welcome you into the Hayloft, where children can enjoy a selection of fun festive activities, write their letter to Santa and post it in our special post box. Meanwhile, the whole family can relax and soak up the Christmas spirit.
Festive refreshments will also be served, including juice, hot drinks, mulled wine, mince pies and shortbread for the family to enjoy.
When it’s time to meet Santa, our Elves will collect your family from the Hayloft and guide you to the Grotto. Your magical journey begins in the Sleigh Room, where you’ll have the perfect opportunity to capture a memorable festive family photo.
Then comes the moment everyone has been waiting for: meeting Santa himself! Children will have the chance to spend some special time with Santa, and every child will receive a Christmas gift to take home.
From festive activities and seasonal treats to magical photo opportunities and that all-important meeting with Santa, this special Christmas experience has been designed to create wonderful family memories at Dumfries House.
